From booking to move-in

   The booking arrives

   Bookings from Uniplaces, HousingAnywhere or your PMS arrive in Maurice automatically, and you can also bring them in through Zapier, Make or n8n.

2. 02

   Documents

   Online, the tenant enters their details and uploads what you ask for: ID, signed contract, residence permit. Maurice collects and checks the ID documents; you review the rest and approve it.

   Payment

   Rent is collected automatically every month by card, with payment reminders: no bank transfers to chase.

4. 04

   Move-in

   On arrival day, from check-in time and once every step is complete, Maurice sends access instructions and Wi-Fi.

   During the tenancy

   Everyday questions handled by Maurice; for repairs and special requests, Maurice asks for your help.

Monthly rent without chasing anyone

With rent collected automatically, there are no bank transfers to check at the start of the month and no awkward messages to late payers. If a payment fails, the tenant gets a reminder and you get an overdue alert, and you decide what happens next. For occasional costs, such as an extra cleaning or a balancing payment, you create a one-off charge in a few seconds. Every payment goes straight to you: see payments and rent.

Letting mid-term in Italy

In Italy, mid-term lets usually run on a contratto transitorio (transitional lease): from 1 to 18 months, with a documented temporary need of the owner or the tenant, such as a work posting. University students studying away from home have their own lease type, from 6 to 36 months. Templates and conditions are set by the Ministerial Decree of 16 January 2017 and by local agreements in each municipality.

Maurice collects the signed contract online, together with the ID and any other document you request, so you or your adviser can register the lease with the Agenzia delle Entrate.

Support for months, not days

A mid-term tenant really lives in the home. They ask when plastics are collected, how the heating works, whether they can receive a parcel, what to do if the washing machine leaks. Maurice answers in their language from the property information, and it knows the area too. It asks for your help only when it’s really needed, and you can step in whenever you want.
